It’s taken me forever to do this.
I have toyed around with the idea of starting a blog for years, but I did not see the point. My writing is personal, I’m not used to sharing my words with the public. What purpose does a blog serve to someone like me who prefers to fade into the background and observe the world? How much fun could I possibly have by creating random musings, stories, poems, informative articles, humorous ponderings, or anything else that my overworked imagination can create? What could I get out of a blog, what could I achieve?
Did I mention I’m a writer?
Blogging is something I have always wanted to do but hesitated starting because I was afraid of running out of things to say. However, the reams of paper on my desk at home tell me that shouldn’t be a problem. I won’t even begin to discuss the numerous files on my laptop. I love words and I love stories. Imagination and creativity go hand-in-hand, and both are held dear to my heart. So it makes sense that I should start a blog and have my own little corner in which to share my thoughts. At the end of the day that’s all I really want. I don’t need much. I’m very low maintenance.
So, for those who decide to grace my blog with curious eyes, I say, “Welcome.” You’ll find a little bit of everything here; my interests tend to be a bit eclectic, but I always hope a reader will take something away from my words whether it’s for entertainment, education, or enlightenment.
Feel free to sneak a peek and enjoy 🙂
